What to Expect

What is life coaching?

 

Short answer: You talk, I listen. I ask questions, you unbury the answers. You leave each session with a weight off your shoulders and a plan.

Long answer: Life coaching is guided empowerment.

People come to a life coach when they want to accomplish, change, or improve an aspect of their life. Often something they’ve been trying to do on their own for a long time, with little success. 

It’s okay to need help. We turn to friends, family, colleagues, and mentors all the time.

But sometimes a more neutral perspective can be the right choice. As a life coach, my style is to be calm, easy to talk to, and open-minded but discerning.

Remember: Athletes have coaches. If someone who plays a sport can lean on a coach and no one bats an eye…

Why wouldn’t we have coaches for when we play the game of life?

We could:

  • Get further faster and with a lot less frustration. 
  • Have more time to enjoy life.
  • Feel more confident facing life’s challenges. 
  • Experience better health, more wealth, deeper love, and steady happiness.

The coaching experience is entirely personalized to your life. You choose what we work on together at the beginning of every session. I then guide you towards the answers you already have in your head and your heart. And at the end of every session, you leave with a solid plan and steps to take through the next week.

As your coach, I don’t intend to give advice or suggestions (unless you ask). Because you are the expert on your own life. I’m the mentor but you’re the captain of the ship.
